1/4 mile time

Post by Perth626 » Tue Mar 15, 2005 2:11 pm

Next week Wednesday I will be taking my 626 down the quarter mile (drags). Against other street cars ofcourse!!

My car is completely stock.. the only new parts are 4 new Yokohama tyres. Should be interesting to see what times I'll get.. and to compare these when I get around to lowering the car, upgrading the exhaust and air filter.

Any ideas what times I can expect??

I've got no idea, My V6 was a bit slow the first couple meters.
Above 5000 RPM, that's his thing!!

But 1/4 mile is 2 short for the 626 V6, i guess

Yes.. that is what I am thinking too. Once I get up to 70kmh I accellerate really well. I'll need to practice my take-offs more, need to find the right rpm to let the clutch go from first gear.

i believe that the autotrader.nl gives you a time of 8,5 seconds on the 0-100 km

that is the stock time of the xerxes, but it is a hatchback here. i cant find an indication of your cars time anywhere.

anyways we will find out soon enough right ;)
